Joe is minor character seen in Planet Terror. He is portrayed by Nicky Katt.
Planet Terror[]
Joe is first seen in the hospital. He talked to Block about a bite that he had on his arm that he acquired on a fishing trip. He is then taken to Block's office. Dr. Felix explains the unusual patients returning from Iraq with unusual cases. Dr. Block then informs Joe that his arm will have to be amputated. Moments later, Block calls Dr. Dakota who then arrives and introduces him to her "friends".
Dr. Crane was scheduled for the amputation. As the outbreak occurred, it was too late as the infection spread, Joe turned into a Sicko. Block went back to get Dakota when he notices that a zombie Joe killed Dr. Crane and was heading for him. Joe then infects Block before leaving.
His current status is unknown.

He appears to be infatuated with Dakota but then jokes about it to Block.
It seems as if he knows Block and Felix outside the hospital.
